How useful are small gantry cranes

Gantry cranes are overhead cranes with a bridge and a trolley attached to a hoist. The load is lifted with the overhead hoist connected to the crossbeam. Crossbeam is mounted on rails or on wheels. In small gantry cranes, wheels are more preferred. After lifting the load, it is possible to move the load from one station to another in a factory or shipping yard.
